This paper is a contribution to the exchange of experience on networking in development research and training.
An approach to international cooperation between institutes through networking cannot be understood unless the potential actors are identified.Who eventually work together and unless there is an analysis of the existing institutional mechanisms.
This process however should not take us too far away from our subject which is development research and training.
