Abstract:
Migrant Forum Lanka is a network of civil society organizations, activists, lawyers, and researchers working for the promotion and protection of rights of migrant workers. This report is designed to draw the attention of the United Nations Committee on Migrant Workers on various issues relating to labour and human rights of migrant workers. It also provides recommendations for improving the process of labour migration in Sri Lanka.
