Abstract:
Much attention has been paid to the impact of international labour migration on macro economic development and to the migrants as well, with female migrants dominating studies. This paper focuses on the pattern of gender differentials in international labour migration in Sri Lanka. The findings are expected to interest policy makers in ascertaining its potential impact on labour migration.
