dc.description.abstractThis report presents preliminary analysis of secondary data on the Sri Lankan labour market. Section A provides a general over view of the labour market trends in the country. Section B of the report provides an overview of the characteristics and trends of the informal sector in Sri Lanka. The next section of the report, section C, analyses the determinants of participation in the informal sector. Detailed results of secondary data analysis and regressions results along with information on variable construction are given in the appendices.en_US
