Abstract
This report analyses the labour market trends in Sri Lanka from 2006 onwards. The report finds that the country’s labour force growth is slowing down and soon, it will start to decline. In order to stay competitive, increase productivity and attract and retain workers, the country needs improve job creation, especially for higher skilled workers, and reduce disparities in the market.
