Abstract
Description
The objectives of the study was to identify opportunities and constraints faced by Sri Lankan spice sector, including quality and hygiene related standards and to provide recommendations for policy interventions to upgrade the spice sector and expand production and export opportunities, though a value chains analysis. The study concentrated on three spices, namely cinnamon, cardamom and pepper.
